Hotel Bandolero is pleased to welcome new visiting artist Alan Flattmann for a Spring 2011 painting workshop. Alan invites you to join him here in Juzcar for 10 full days of plein air painting and sketching in the inspiring mountains of the Serrania de Ronda. Along the way, enjoy delicious Spanish cuisine, delightful wines and the camaraderie of fellow artists.
Alan Flattmann is a PSA Master Pastelist, renowned painter, teacher and author of two art books. He was inducted into the Pastel Society of America Hall of Fame and is a recipient of the American Artist Art Masters Award for Pastel Teacher, as well as numerous other awards and honors. He has taught art workshops since 1968 and has led many painting tours to Europe and other foreign destinations.

1. La Sima Del Diablo, Júzcar - feel the excitement as you trek through the Genal River passing ruins of Spain's oldest and first factory and climb down cascades of various heights known as La Sima del Diablo, The Devil's Abyss.
2. El Tajo de Ronda, Ronda - forge your way through the River Tajo in Ronda passing below the Roman built bridge, followed by the "New Bridge" built in the 18th century. You then find yourself at at a point where you can rappel down a couple of cascades of the Tajo River (one quite high and exciting) with incredible views.

Well known Gaelic singers, tutors & Royal National Mod Gold Medallists, Rhoda Meek and Fiona J. Mackenzie offer you, for the fourth time, the chance to learn something of the Scottish Gaelic language or Gaelic Song, deep in the heart of Andalusia, Spain. Places are extremely limited so don't leave it too long to sign up for this unique and exciting opportunity to experience something of one of the world's most beautiful and eloquent languages.
