The Ronda area has developed a phenomenal wine industry in only the last 25 years. Once an ocean of vines, it was wiped out in the 19th century by Phylloxera along with the rest of Europe. Now, inspired individuals are planting vines and building bodegas which are already showing how Ronda´s climate and altitude can produce outstanding quality. Hotel Bandolero is delighted to introduce Wine Tasting Weekends, providing a taste of these characterful wines, a visit to their producers, and delicious food.
Your Wine Tasting Weekend at Hotel Bandolero will include food and wine matching, sampling of local tapas and a special session on Spain´s world famous Jamón Ibérico – cured free-range ham of (almost!) divine quality.
Our two night weekend package comprises:
